The end of winter is officially here now that the NCAA Tournament has once again descended upon Earth, specifically Ford Field in Detroit, MI. Minutes...who am I kidding, seconds after the brackets were announced the onslaught of "snubs" "who got sent where" and "who will be this year's George Mason?" came flooding from the bowels of the Internet Superhighway all over the world.
Which bring me to my point. Everyone gets excited for this tournament, and for a good many reasons. No other event garners attention and active participation from all walks of life like March Madness. This includes grandmas, sisters, moms, mail carriers, the furnace guy (yeah, you too Steve) and numerous pets. Everyone gets into it.
Writing strictly from the standpoint of a Wisconsin NCAA sports fan who follows along nationally as well on a regular basis, I'll share my insights on the Big Dance and toss a few upsets and tidbits out for your enjoyment.
Post early, post often, this is where you'll find intelligent sports talk!

this seems to be a year where there is no clear favorite to win it. there has been no team dominant from beginning of the season till now. expect to see a lot of different winners in the brackets this year.
